The Taiwanese company Soyo Computer traces its history to 1985. The main products of the company – motherboards, virtually unknown in Russia, but also enjoying strong demand in some European countries and the Americas. The current line of wireless networking equipment Soyo five units, three of which were in our lab. Each of them is interesting in its own way. These two devices are marketed under the brand created specifically Aerielink, which in itself speaks of the importance attached to these devices manufacturers. Standard WLAN 802.11g, allowing you to transfer data at speeds up to 54 Mbit / s in the 2.4 GHz band was finally approved in June 2003. This standard is backward compatible with the still dominant in the market of 11-megabit standard 802.11b. And it looks like 802.11b leadership inevitably coming to an end. Soyo AWRO3101 – 802.11g Wireless Access Point with 4-port hub and Internet router
